Unearthly beauty
Led by Magdalen Smith
This retreat will be a chance to stop and be still, reflecting on some of the saints we remember during December as well as on the characters which make up the Christmas story.
St John of the Cross, Nicholas, Thomas Becket, Lucy, Joseph, Elisabeth, John the Baptist and the shepherds and wise men will all be making an appearance as we draw out themes which help make Advent and Christmas message strongly relevant to our own era.
There will also be an opportunities to pray using simple meditative prayer techniques which help quiet body and mind and this retreat will use images to help us enrich our journey together.
This will be a silent retreat and include daily prayers, one Eucharist, and opportunity for 1:1 pastoral conversations with the leader.
