Epiphany 2026 - pray with us
On January 6th we will be praying as a Community because we are seeking a new member to join us to serve as Office Manager/all-rounder.
We plan for at least one of us to be in the chapel every hour on the hour between 8am and 8pm.

Getting ready to recruit includes
- Preparing our hearts and minds to welcome someone new - having enough capacity for change and care
- Being clear about the role and the skills needed, and describing it well
- Advertising the role appropriately (socials, networks, paid)
- Handling the shortlisting and interview process with rigour, grace and integrity
- Being open to the possibility that God might have something completely different in mind!
We are currently have a great admin team of local people working on reception, IT support, publicity and application development. However, they cannot provide the solid level of continuity of so much of the day to day underpinning that it takes to run Sheldon. Too much of Sarah's time is being taken up with things she should be delegating in order to focus more time on 1:1 work with guests and Warden things like future planning/development of Sheldon.
