Navigating chaotic times by a Christian compass
Led by Margaret Silf
We are living through many different manifestations of chaos in our lives today, in our personal journeys, our communities and our world. During this retreat we will explore some ways of navigating these uncharted waters. Can chaos be the source of new creation? How do we find solid ground when the earth is shifting? How might tried and tested tools of spiritual discernment guide our steps? Within the context of a silent retreat, we will reflect on these and other related questions in two daily sessions together, with a further carefully boundaried optional time for those who might wish to share their responses. Daily offices and one Eucharist.
Margaret Silf is the author of a number of books for contemporary spiritual pilgrims, including Landmarks, At Sea with God, The Other Side of Chaos, Hidden Wings and Soul Journey. She is committed to working across and beyond the denominational divides, accompanying others on their spiritual journeys in retreats and days of reflection.
