Rocks, lights and anchor points
Led by Margaret Silf
A spiritual journey with a nautical flavour to explore times when we have experienced shipwreck and to acknowledge the beacons and lighthouses that have guided us through difficult times. Where have we found secure anchor points in stormy times? What insights have we gained to help all of us navigate the turbulent seas through which the world is sailing in our times?
Within the context of a silent retreat, we will reflect on these and other related questions in two daily sessions together, with a further carefully boundaried optional time for those who might wish to share their responses. Daily offices.
Margaret Silf is the author of a number of books for contemporary spiritual pilgrims, including Landmarks, At Sea with God, The Other Side of Chaos, Hidden Wings and Soul Journey. She is committed to working across and beyond the denominational divides, accompanying others on their spiritual journeys in retreats and days of reflection.
